November 1st is the date (possibly)

World of Warcraft’s third expansion was recently announced and is said to be released “sometime in 2010″. Although no official release date has been announced, there is a possibility of it being 11/1/10. The reason for this is that according to Game Stop’s “big book of release dates” (not really what it is called), under the pc games release dates, Cataclysm had a release date. Of course, this is not official and this may be an estimate but hey, it is exiting to “know” something, especially for WoW players.

She's Back!

Back in classic wow or even BC, I was never able to run Onyxia's Lair but I'm glad that they are bringing her back. A lot of the older raids were decent but forgotten with the expansions. It is great that they are revisiting azeroth in cataclym. Heh, heroic deadmines

What do they say?

Outside of Ironforge during Brewfest, the background music has dwarves talking. Sometimes I don't understand what they are saying but sometimes it sounds like

"She was lookin' at me Bulge"
"toss me a golden prostate"
"Wait til I kill my nephew"

Is this what they are saying or am I not hearing it correctly?

Ahh Good ol' Brewfest

So today marks the beginning of my favorite holiday in WoW, Brewfest. This was the first holiday that I was a high enough level to participate in last year when I started playing. I think that I was a little over level 30 on my lock because I remember that I had my mount. Anyway, this year is eexiting because I can go and kill Coren Direbrewand maybe loot a mount (gnome on a kodo ha). Sadly, My tauren shaman is only level 12 but hopefuly I will be able to get the brew of the month club. Speaking of brew of the month...
Well, Next year

Easy Reading

So I was at the book store the other day and I came across the War of the Ancients trilogy. I picked up the first of three in the trilogy. I am almost halfway done with it and I found that it is really easy reading for someone who plays WoW because there is a lot of things that you can recall from the game. It is especially interesting for people who like the lore (like me). I really reccomend it for people who should spend less time on the computer playing mmo's.

Perfect world

Anyone who is involved in f2p mmo's will probably know about Perfect World. At first, I was hesitant to try this game but I went for it and I don't really have anything bad to say about it. The character customization in the game is the best I have seen in any mmo. You can change all of the aspects of the character's body and face. You can go so far as to changing the curve of the nose and the openness of the eyes. It comes with preset character designs for the people who are not into the looks as much as the game play itself. There are three playable races: the untamed, winged elves and of course, the humans. Each race has two playable classes that can be played by each gender, except for the untamed. The male untamed can only be barbarians and the females are restricted to being venomancers. When you go on as your character for the first time you are positioned near your first quest giver. There is a tips function that teaches new players the game without being annoying. After my first quest as a human, I am sent to the main human city. Something interesting about this game it the ability to leap higher than in any game that I have played. This is probably done to make the elves seem like they don't have a huge advantage over other players with their ability to fly from level one (opposed to level 30 for the other races). The map is one continuous world compared to zones in other games. There are however, territories that different fractions can take control of. This game is very well put together and thought out with features that you might not find in other f2p mmo's and it is worth a shot if you are looking for something new.

The adventures of a tauren shaman

As you most likely know, the next WoW expansion, Cataclysm, has been announced. This in going to change a lot of things so I thought I would make a hordie and level him up to at least 60 so I can get a look at things before all of the changes. I have made a few horde toons and it seems that I enjoy playing on the horde much more than the alliance. I noticed more immature players. He is currently level 9. I would probably be playing now if it wasn't for my latency issuses concerning my crappy wireless router.

His name is Eltablo (that could be a song) on the US server, ursin.
